Facebook has recently launched hashtags, this will introduce trending topics for users. This means that user will be able to see what their friends are talking about. Facebook Announced that # is now included with comments and status updates, This idea was first introduced by Twitter and now adopted by Social media giants.
Facebook will now make a bundle of comments which has got # tag in and users would be able to see all the comments with same #tag
“Between 88 and 100 million Americans log into Facebook every night during prime time TV hours, which represents a significant opportunity for broadcasters, advertisers and our other partners,” Justin Osofsky, director, platform partnerships and operations at Facebook, said in a blog post. A recent episode of the Game of Thrones series on HBO generated 1.5 million mentions on Facebook, he said.
